Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your browser or device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners.
Cookies can be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
Similar technologies include local storage — a browser feature that lets websites store data locally on your device — which mopee also uses (see Section 4).
mopee uses only strictly necessary cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioural profiling cookies of any kind.

Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, no cookie consent banner is required under the EU ePrivacy Directive or UK PECR. These cookies cannot be disabled without breaking core app functionality.
The mopee waitlist landing page loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. This request is made directly from your browser to Google's servers and may result in Google setting its own cookies or logging your IP address and browser user-agent. We have no control over Google's cookies. You can review Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.
The mopee web application itself does not load any external fonts or third-party scripts at runtime, so no third-party cookies are set while you are using the logged-in app.
In addition to cookies, the mopee application uses your browser's local storage to store certain data locally on your device for performance and usability reasons. Local storage data is never transmitted to our servers — it stays entirely on your device.

You can clear local storage at any time through your browser's developer tools or by clearing site data in your browser settings. Clearing local storage will not log you out or delete any data from our servers.

Please note that blocking or deleting the Supabase session cookie (Section 2) will log you out of mopee and you will not be able to use the application until you sign in again.
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify registered users by email.
